The Bells Go Down

Synopsis

An ensemble tribute to the civilian volunteers of the Auxiliary Fire Service (AFS) who fought fires and rescued people during the London Blitz. A diverse group of recruits—including a comedian/bettor, a prospective bridegroom, and a former thief—learn discipline, overcome personal and class divides, and face dangerous night raids.
